Since discovering the Flaky/Itchy Scalp shampoo by Philip Kingsley, I have tried other products in the range and the toner and scalp exfoliator became staples in my haircare collection. I used the Moisture Balancing conditioner as there is no Flaky/Itchy Scalp conditioner.
I then tried the Moisture Extreme range but that was too heavy for my hair which is not surprising as it is aimed at afro hair and I have fine hair.
I then decided to try the Moisture Balancing Shampoo with the conditioner. The Moisture Balancing range is “for medium textured, wavy hair or chemically processed fine hair”. Mine is the former. When used together, and as claimed, the duo seemed to deliver moisture to the drier parts of my hair at the ends, without weighing down the hair closest to the scalp which is not so dry.
Perfect you might say! Well, although the pair was great for my hair, I still felt the need to go back to the Flaky/Itchy scalp shampoo every now and then. I didn’t like that reliance on that shampoo so I decided to try different brands and haven’t needed to return to Philip Kingsley Shampoos and Conditioners since (although I still keep a toner and exfoliator handy).
I’m a big fan of this range. Have you tried the Elasticizer? Its brilliant

I think I tried it ages ago but I don’t have the time for too many steps. I can just about shampoo and condition these days!
