I tried to resist the Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe collection but alas, I was weak! I blame this on Bobbi Brown Pro Artist Hannah Martin! She mixed the Incandescent and Jungle Luxe Eye Shadow shades together and they were just so gorgeous. Unfortunately by the time I got around to ordering, Jungle was sold out so I just bought this with the Camo Luxe gel eyeliner in Cypress Ink which I am yet to use. Both eyeshadows are multi-chrome and both are now sold out online (UK website).
The Luxe Eye Shadows usually come in tactile gold packaging (which I prefer) but this one came in khaki green, to match the theme. It’s nice, but not as luxurious. You have to open the compact to get the luxury. Incandescent has a gorgeous warm pink-gold shift. It feels gorgeously creamy to apply with my little finger but once on my eyelids it’s not as smooth as I would like it to be. Having said that, perhaps it is supposed to have some texture – it’s not supposed to be a standard eyeshadow at all! Take a look at the photos and tell me what you think.
I find that wearing this is the quickest way to get a glamourous look which looks as if you spent ages mixing and blending when you actually spend about 30 seconds on each eye. I plan to post a video and you can see just how shiny and sparkly it is. In one word, it’s dazzling! Despite the unexpected texture on my lids, I’m glad I got hold of this Bobbi Brown Luxe Eyeshadow in Incandescent and wish I managed to get my hands on Jungle!
Listen!! Since the brownbeauty makeup master class with Bobbi Brown and I’ve used their corrector and concealer, I’m hooked on this brand. I definitely need a job fo 2019 to maintain my Bobbi Brown luv :0)
