We’ve had some extremely hot days this week (for the UK). Temperatures reached 33 (or more) degrees centigrade so it must have been unbearably hot on the London tubes.
I chose to wear a modified no-makeup makeup look. As was my usual for allergy season, there was no mascara. But this time I decided to use my Pat Mcgrath Labs Skin Fetish 003 Iridescent Pink 003 Pigment from the Nude set. I don’t buy Pat McGrath Labs (with a $25 shipping fee!) to play it safe!
I started with my lighter base – Iman Luxury Radiance Liquid Makeup in Clay 1 mixed with Lancôme Hydra Zen gel cream moisturiser and buffed on using my Real Techniques buffing brush. I dusted on some Iman Second to None Luxury Radiance Foudation powder using my Real Tecniqus duo fiber face brush.
I lined my upper lash line with my B. Beauty gel eyeliner (not pictured) in black using my Ruby & Mille angled brush and decided it was boring so I wiped the gel liner off the brush and used it to apply the dark brown shimmer eye shadow from the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 palette all over my lid, including the liner.
I filled in my brows using a cool dark brown HD Brows powder and my Real Techniques angled liner brush and set them with my L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper brow gel in dark brown.
I lined my lips with Clarins Lip Pencil in 02 Nude Beige and tapped some Bobbi Brown Crystal lip gloss over the top using my finger for a nude look.
For the grand finale I highlighted my cheekbones, nose, forehead, temples and chin using my PatMcGrath Iridescent Pink Pigment using the buffing brush that came in the Skin Fetish 003 set. No blush, because in the heat my checks would end up looking rosy anyway!
