I first tried Benefit Gimme Brow when I had my Benefit counter makeover. I wasn’t impressed then but looking back now, I can’t understand why not! It now needs a fair review.

I received a Gimme Brow in a gift set at Christmas after not buying it then. The teeny tiny wand is perfect for grooming brows. It’s a thick brow gel with fibres. The fibres thicken my brows nicely which is what I need at the outer edges. The colour, medium/deep is the perfect grey-brown.
The way to make it work is all in the application. You brush the product on the “wrong” way, that is, towards your nose, to deposit the colour and fibres. You then brush the “right” way, away from your nose, to neaten up. I personally like to brush the side closest to my nose upwards then coax the hairs outwards.

This little gem is brilliant for two-minute brows so perfect for mornings where you have had a lie-in. I can’t remember the last time I used brow powder!
Here are my brows with the camera flash on:

Here they are in natural light so you can see the grey tone:

On 24th June the packaging will change to an eye-catching silver and it will be available in 3 shades instead of 2. I always thought 2 could not be enough. I am likely to purchase this again when it is re-released, not least because I love the fun new look. I’ll pop along to the counter to check my shade – it will probably be 5 but I want to make sure just in case it is three. Knowing me I’ll get both for multi-dimensional statement brows. Plus, some review say the formula is a little different. I hope it’s not too different because I love it just the way it is!

i really need to try this! i have the mac gel mascara for my brows ! x
