The Afro Hair and Beauty show started off as a trade show for hair but has been open to the general public for some time now, so we can all discover and stock up on hair and beauty items at great prices.
There were some niche make-up stands there but I didn’t pay too much attention just in case I was tempted to break my epic beauty spending ban. Despite that, I did manage to acquire some make-up by subscribing to Black Beauty and Hair Magazine. I now have my first Fashion Fair products!
Fashion Fair is a beauty counter make-up brand specifically for black and Asian skin tones. It has a fairly modest distribution in Debenhams and Boots and there is one near me so I don’t really have an excuse for not trying it. Needless to say, I’m really looking forward to playing with these Fashion Fair goodies and letting you know what I think!
