Lately I haven’t been looking after my nails but there was no way I was going to BeautyCon London without a good set of nails. As my nails are really short, I needed to wear some stick on nails so I decided to paint my own. Well, I had no choice as I’m not allowed to buy nails as part of my epic beauty spending ban!
I used Kiss nails and Elegant Touch Adhesive tabs. After selecting the correct nail sizes, I blu-tacked them to a piece of paper so I could paint them. I took the opportunity to use my Wah Nails Ultimate Nail Art Kit. I used: Ni
- Nail polish in An Even Bigger Splash (turquoise)
- White nail art pen (the brush)
- Yellow nail art pen (the brush)
- Classy Glassy Glossy Topcoat.
I attempted to do my own version of the Big Leopard look but I ended up with impressionist flowers, or fried eggs, instead! Despite that, I felt quite proud of my nail art. They were unique – I could guarantee that no-one else had my nails. Even better, I received a compliment on my nails which made my day!
After all the late night painting and Periscoping, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to try some new Elegant Touch nails so I peeled off my beloved nails and had some House of Holland nails applied. I eventually decided on Next Level Nude although I should have been more adventurous and gone for Flower Power. What do you think?
