I created this look because I wanted to try out my new silver liquid eyeliner from e.l.f. As you can see, it is very bright!
No7 Instant Radiance Foundation in Deeply Honey applied with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
Clinique All About Eyes Concealer in 08 Deep Honey applied with my fingers to cover my under eye dark circles.
A dusting of Bare Minerals foundation in Golden Tan to take away the shine on my nose using my Bare Minerals flawless face brush.
I applied the brown highlighter colour (the large rectangle) in my Makeup Revolution Make Believe eyeshadow palette all over the lid up to my brows using my Teez flat stiff brush. I then lined my upper lash line using my e.l.f. liquid eyeliner in silver. I needed 2-3 coats to get a smooth line. I applied one coat of Givenchy Phenomen’eyes mascara in 1 Deep Black to my upper lashes. I then used my Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in 1 Black Ink on my lower lash line using my Bobbi Brown mini ultra fine eye liner brush and Eye of Horus goddess smokey eye pencil in black along my lower waterline. I wasn’t initially going to wear black eyeliner but my eyes needed some definition on the lower half to balance the top half.
I applied the clear wax using the included brush then used the angled side of the brush to apply the dark brown colour to my brows to fill them in. It wasn’t dark enough so I lightly went over the brown using the black shade (black is too dark, even for my black eyebrows).
Lips and cheeks
Deciding what to do with my lips and cheeks was tricky. As you might have seen from my Instagram photo, I went through several options. At first I thought I would go for a nude lip so my lips weren’t in competition with my eyes but I just looked washed out. I decided on Maybelline lipstick in Ravishing Rose as although it is an orange-red colour, it has a gentleness to it which makes it work. I then brushed the bronze colour in my Sleek Face Form palette in Medium 374 on to my cheeks and blended out using my Models Own Powder Brush.
To finish I set my makeup with my Kiko Face Makeup fixer.
