I went back to the Revlon stand in search of more Matte Balm and Lacquer Balm colours but I couldn’t find any I really wanted.  Instead, I spotted this Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush and decided to try it, as I have a lack of deep colours like this.

It is a deep red-purple which looks purple on my hand but red on my lips.  It stains the lips, moisturises with the balm and leaves a shine – not as shiny as the lacquer but more than a satin colour.  The stain is great.  When the shine wears off the colour remains on the lips, which to me, is important.  The stain survived through my meal so I was quite pleased!

It has a mint scent which is not too strong so I can live with it.  I found it difficult to apply and build colour.  It does take some effort but once the stain is there, it stays.

I almost picked up a paler shade, but remained strong!  I’m not sure how pale pink would stain on me.  If you have tried Honey, please let me know how long it lasts!
