This look was inspired by Alexandra’s make up in The Face USA episode 1.  It was incredibly striking as it was literally all about the eyes – intense, deep, metallic green. To emphasise this, the eyeshadow was angular, there was no eyeliner on the lower waterline and matte nude lips.

To recreate this I first created the shape using the metallic dark green colour in my Sleek Bad Girl 596 eyeshadow palette. Using my e.l.f. Studio Eyeshadow “C” Brush, I applied the eyeshadow to my eyelids and out from the outer corner of my eye in a squarish shape.  I also brought the shadow above the socket, again in a squared-off shape.  This colour has a blue tinge to it.

I applied the metallic forest green from my Sleek Curacao 656 eyeshadow palette (limited edition so no longer available) to the inner corners of my eyes using my No7 eyeshadow brush.

I used my Ruby & Millie eye brush to apply KIKO infinity eyeshadow in 204 under my brow bone – this colour is a matte colour the same shade as my eyelids and blended this into the green using the same brush.

I then used my e.l.f. eyeshadow brush to apply the metallic green-black colour from my Sleek Bad Girl eyeshadow palette to the outer corners of my eyes, bringing the colour into my lids about a third of the way.  I also applied the colour above the socket

I blended all of the colours together using my No7 eyeshadow blend and contour brush.

I finished with Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara in Black and defined my brows using Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in Mahogany 10 and the angled brush on my Bella Pierre dual brush.

I’m also wearing  Bobbi Brown Illuminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation SPF12 in Golden 6, e.l.f. Studio Matte lip colour in Praline and No7 Natural Blush Tint Powder in Spice.

I love this look so much and it was surprisingly quick to do.
