I wanted to see the minimum amount of make-up I could get away with but still look like I made an effort. In addition, I wanted to find a way to spend less time doing my everyday face.
It’s also great for holidays/vacations, especially if you have an hand luggage only package and want to leave space for other things like shoes and souvenirs!
I managed to scale the look back to:
Bobbi Brown Illuminating Finish Powder Compact Foundation SPF12 in Golden 6, applied with the sponge under my eyes and on my nose for medium coverage, and using my EcoTools powder brush on the rest of my face for light coverage.
Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl waterproof eyeliner in Cocoa Bean (dark brown) along my top lash line and smudged into my lower lashline. I also used it to define my brows using very soft strokes – this is a very soft pencil. I gently combed my brows as the pencil was quite heavy on them.
Bobbi Brown Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara on black – two coats on the top lashes and one on the bottom.
No7 Natural Blush Tint Powder in Coral Flush on the apples of my cheeks and cheek bones for a rosy glow applied using my No7 blusher brush.
Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Marshmallow Electro 95 for glossy lips which emphasise my natural lip colour.
I can’t believe I got this down to five products and I actually like it! Can you do this? I’d love to know how!
(Yes, I also have a travel scrapbook!)
