This look was inspired by episode 5 of Sky Living‘s The Face, where the aspiring models had to star in a TV advert for a luxury brand. I loved this look on me in real life but unfortunately you can’t see the full effect in the photos – it was a very dark and cloudy day and the lights in my house are rubbish!
This look was all about the whole face, shimmery and luxurious, as if bathed in gold.
I prepared my face by applying Bobbi Brown Corrector in Dark Peach on my forehead and chin using my No7 foundation brush. I applied MAC Prep+Prime to my nose using my fingers then dusted on some Bare Minerals Mineral Veil using my Flawless Face brush to get rid of unwanted shine. I applied Bobbi Brown Corrector in Dark Bisque under my eyes and on my eyelids using my Bobbi Brown Cream Blending brush.  I applied two layers of Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation in B70 all over my face using my No7 foundation brush. Using the sponge, I applied Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation in Honey 5.5 to my eyelids.
Using MAC brush 209, I applied a thick line of MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack along the top lashline. I applied two coats of Maybelline the Falsies Volum’ Express Flared mascara in Very Black to my upper lashes and one coat to my lower lashes. I defined my eyebrows using Bobbi Brown eyeshadow in Mahogany 10 and my Bare Minerals Angled Liner Brush. To complete my eyes, I lined the lower waterline with Lancome Le Crayon KhĂ´l in 01 Noir.
Using the brown colour in my Sleek Contour Kit in Medium, I contoured the hollows of my cheeks, sides of my forehead and sides of my chin using my No7 blusher brush. Using my travel sized Ruby & Mille cheek brush, I also applied the brown colour to the sides of my nose. To highlight, I dusted the darker colours in the Seventeen Instant Glow Shimmer Brick in Gold Bronze across the apples of my cheeks, temples and down the middle of my face – forehead, bridge of my nose and chin, using the same brush.
I filled in my lips using Bobbi Brown lip liner in cocoa followed by Bobbi Brown Lip Color in Cocoa 31 which I blotted then re-applied. I finished my lips using Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Nude 08.

Unfortunately the following is no longer available:
- Anything by Ruby & Millie – the whole line has been discontinued.
