Comment: The Face Episode 6

There were so many great looks today in Sky Living‘s The Face.  I’m already making my make-up shopping list – I have to try them all.

This was the red carpet episode. Team Naomi won and deserved it too!

Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell always looks perfect and her purple eyes were amazing. I just had to say that!

Team Naomi

Emma and Racquel both looked amazing.  Racquel wore adventurous two-tone lips in purple-burgundy with a burgundy accent in the middle of her lower lip.  She kept her eyes simple with a sweep of black topliner. Emma stole the show with her smoky green and grey eyes and nude lips. Her eyeshadow made her eyes pop and nicely complemented her dress. I think I’ll try both looks!

Team Erin

Elaine was the star of this team, with natural glossy lips and defined winged eyes. This is a great look and she looks incredibly pretty. Nina Sethi chose smoky eyes with nude lips and Sienna went for deep purple with dark eyes.  Elaine’s look is hot so that’s on my list of looks to try!

Team Caroline

Again this team played it safe with the make-up with simply emphasised eyes and lips.  My favourite is Eleanor as she used one of my favourite tricks – a highlighter in the inner corner of the eyes to brighten them.  In fact, I think she used it under the whole lower lashline and along most of the top lashline, adding a darker colour to the outer edge of her eyelids for depth. She went for an orangey red on her lips, not too bold but just enough so it did not distract from the overall effect. This look is great and it’s on my list!

Can’t wait for episode 7!
