Review: Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Night Flower

I have also almost run out of this Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Night Flower.  The shade is no longer available so it’s back to the Clinique counter to find an alternative.

As with Heather Moon, this is also light and smooth.  It is almost sheer but has a stronger colour than Heather Moon.  It gives my lips a purple-brown colour so adds a little more drama to my daytime look.  It is deceptively two-tone  – it looks brown in the tube but purple on me.  It also has multi-tonal metallic elements to make my lips look fuller and give a grown-up shine.

As with Heather Moon, it has average staying power.  Having said that, it is easy to reapply, like a tinted lip balm or gloss.

For me, it gives a darker but not dramatic look and at the moment, I wear it everyday as it takes me perfectly from day to night.
